Welcome to the Praesto String Quartet website, based in Christchurch, New Zealand! This site contains information about us, our music and how we can work with you to make your wedding or function a special and memorable occasion.

Since the string quartet's formation in 1997, we have enjoyed playing at over five hundred weddings, corporate functions, garden parties and birthdays. With a large repertoire of wedding music, classical, modern and jazz, we have music to suit all occasions.
